10,000 BTC Demand Claim Over Revolut Customer Data Leak

Revolut customer information has been partially leaked amid a phishing scam that exploited government agency domains, with claims that attackers are demanding 10,000 BTC. WuBlock123 cited Protos reporting that attackers may have obtained customer data including names, birth dates, addresses, emails, phone numbers, passports, driver's licenses, and IBANs, and are demanding a ransom of 10,000 BTC.

Revolut informed customers that the information was provided without authorization through fraudulent requests, but stated there is no impact on company systems or customer funds. The company has not disclosed the number of affected customers or the name of the government agency used in the spoofing attempt.
