3790 BTC Moved from Long-Dormant Wallets This Month

According to Bitcoin News, 3,790 BTC moved from long-dormant wallets between January 1-15 (local time). The funds originated from wallets created between 2010 and 2017, with 113 BTC (approximately $8.8 million) moving for the first time since 2013. The largest movement occurred on January 6 when 1,260 BTC was transferred from a wallet created in 2016. Sixty-two percent of this month's dormant BTC movements happened on weekends.
