A $7.8 million (approximately 10.5 billion KRW) virtual asset wallet theft was reported to have originated from a coding error in a helper contract approved by the wallet owner, with reports indicating it was not due to a vulnerability in Safe itself. CoinDesk reported that security firms tracking the stolen funds traced the attack to an exploit of a helper contract for which the wallet owner had previously granted permissions.
