7 Democratic Senators Signal Bipartisan Clarity Act Negotiation Effort

Seven Democratic U.S. Senators, including Kirsten Gillibrand, Mark Warner, Ruben Gallego, and Angela Alsobrooks, have issued a joint statement expressing their commitment to working across party lines to pass the Clarity Act.

The move comes as initial signs of renewed negotiations between Democrats and Republicans over the legislation emerge. Three sources familiar with the discussions confirmed that both sides are assessing whether they are open to returning to the negotiating table, with efforts underway to revive bipartisan talks aimed at passing the bill before year-end.

Earlier, the Clarity Act failed to secure the necessary 60 votes in a procedural vote for full Senate consideration. The senators' statement has raised expectations about whether stalled negotiations on the bill will resume.
