AI Data Center Firm Enscale Submits IPO Filing to SEC

AI data center development company Enscale has publicly submitted its initial public offering (IPO) filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Bloomberg reported that Enscale collaborates with NVIDIA and Microsoft, and is pursuing an IPO to secure funding for equipment purchases in response to growing AI computing demand.
Enscale's SEC filing disclosed revenue of $140.6 million and a net loss of $102 million for the six months ending June 30, 2024. This compares to $1.04 million in revenue and a $36.89 million net loss during the same period last year. Bloomberg also reported that Enscale spun off from cryptocurrency mining company Acon Energy, and recently signed a $1.65 billion acquisition agreement for decentralized AI software firm Anyscale in July.
