AI Inference Chip Startup Euclid Secures $231 Million Series A

Dutch AI inference chip startup Euclid (EUCLYD) announced it has secured a Series A funding round of $23.1 million (approximately 31.12 billion KRW). The company stated in a press release on May 15 that Samsung Electronics, Summerhill Capital Partners, EQT's Scale-up Europe Fund, and Innovation Industries jointly led the investment.

Euclid explained it is developing GPU alternative technology for AI inference through its proprietary chip and memory architecture. Founded in 2024 by Bernardo Castrop and Atul Sinha with headquarters in Eindhoven, Netherlands, the company also revealed that former ASML CEO Peter Beninga has joined its board of directors.
