The CoinMarketCap Altcoin Season Index has recorded a reading of 41. The index compares price fluctuations between the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization (excluding stablecoins and wrapped coins) and Bitcoin. If 75% of the top 100 coins have outperformed Bitcoin over the past 90 days, it is considered an altcoin season; otherwise, it is a Bitcoin season. The index approaches 100 when altcoin season is strong.
