Altera Prepares Private IPO Targeting Over $2 Billion Raise

Altera is reportedly preparing a private initial public offering (IPO) targeting a fundraising goal of over $2 billion (approximately KRW 2.694 trillion). The listing could potentially occur as early as 2026, according to Reuters, which reported on October 10 (local time) that Altera is preparing to submit private IPO-related documents. Reuters also noted that the timing and scale of the offering may change.

Altera is an FPGA (field-programmable gate array) company supported by Silver Lake and Intel. Silver Lake is reportedly considering Barclays, Citigroup, JPMorgan, and Morgan Stanley as potential lead underwriters for the IPO.
