Circle's Arc blockchain public mainnet launch is set for September 16, with Arc-based USDC trading at nearly double its usual premium just one day before the release. Over 10,000 transactions have been recorded on third-party OTC platforms as demand surges to secure Arc-based USDC. The BlockBeats reported that buyers are driving the premium close to double, with some platforms allowing sellers to set their own prices for this separate trading pair from Ethereum's USDC.
