Arc Launches Natural Language On-Chain App Builder Tool

Arc, the Layer 1 blockchain of Circle ($CRCL), has launched Arc Studio, an AI-powered development tool that generates full-stack applications and smart contracts from natural language input. The platform was unveiled on Arc's official blog on July 17th.
Users describe their desired service in plain text, and Arc Studio automatically creates frontend interfaces, backend logic, and smart contract code. Arc describes the tool as an 'AI coding agent' for on-chain development. It integrates with Circle's CCTP, Gateway, and Wallets infrastructure.
Arc Studio supports testing across nine blockchains including Arbitrum, Arc, Avalanche (AVAX), Base, Ethereum (ETH), Monad, OP Mainnet, Polygon, and Unichain. Developers can export the generated code to their own repositories and deploy using personal keys and infrastructure. The tool also supports calling Arc Studio as a sub-agent from platforms like Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.
The launch focuses on reducing repetitive infrastructure setup in blockchain development, such as wallets, gas fees, smart contracts, protocol integrations, and testnet tools. It bundles the entire process from idea to code generation and testing into one workflow. Target applications include payment systems, swaps, wallets, bridges, loans, staking, and automated payments leveraging USDC flows.
Example use cases provided by Arc include team revenue-sharing contracts, USDC payment interfaces, and conditional payout features. Developers can review and test smart contracts and applications before exporting the code for deployment on their own infrastructure. The tool also allows users to input deployed contract addresses to create frontend applications connected to those contracts.
However, Arc Studio does not automatically guarantee code safety. A warning on the service interface states that AI-generated code may contain errors or vulnerabilities requiring independent review and testing. It is not a tool for signing transactions or executing funds on mainnet.
Arc also launched its public mainnet on July 16th, featuring a Layer 1 network using USDC as the default fee asset alongside Circle's development tools. With the mainnet launch followed by Arc Studio's release, Arc has expanded both its network and developer application creation environment.
