Argentina to Share Digital Asset Transaction Data with Other Countries Starting 2029

Argentina will start automatically exchanging digital asset transaction data with other countries beginning in 2029. The exchange will include user identities and trading histories, as well as transactions conducted through foreign exchanges and external addresses. The Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes announced on Wednesday that Argentina has adopted the Cryptocurrency Asset Reporting Framework (CARF), an international standard established by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), to enhance tax transparency.
