Binance Altcoin Deposits Surge 4x Amid Regulatory and Fed Uncertainty

With the U.S. Clarify Act procedural vote and Federal Reserve interest rate decision looming, on-chain analyst Darkfost has analyzed a significant increase in altcoin deposits flowing into Binance. The seven-day average of Binance altcoin deposit transactions rose from 8,300 in July to 31,800 currently, representing approximately a fourfold increase. During the same period, Coinbase saw deposits rise from 2,200 to 4,700 transactions, while Bybit increased to 2,700.

Amid Bitcoin’s recent surge of over 30% in just days, the TOTAL3 index reflecting altcoin market capitalization also grew by more than $13.6 billion during this period. While current sell pressure remains at an unusually high level, analysts advise continued monitoring as market uncertainty persists.
