Binance Changes TradFi Commodity Futures to 24/5 Trading Starting June 16

Binance will change the trading method for its commodity-style Traditional Finance (TradFi) perpetual futures to 24/5 starting at 6:00 AM KST on June 16. The platform has eliminated the one-hour daily maintenance downtime that was previously scheduled.

PANews reported on June 15 that Binance announced this change, stating that commodity-style TradFi perpetual futures will transition to a continuous 24/5 trading model. Binance operates these TradFi perpetual futures as derivative products tracking traditional finance asset prices, and its FAQ had previously explained that commodity-style products were traded on a 5-day, 24-hour schedule with one hour of daily maintenance downtime.
