Binance to Pursue Long-Term MiCA Compliance Operations in EU

Binance has announced its intention to pursue long-term regulatory compliance operations under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework. The company stated on June 16 via its official blog that it will continue providing services to European users while complying with applicable laws.

Binance explained that Greece's regulatory authorities have completed the MiCA license application review process and met all requirements, with the application also under examination by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). The company warned that delays or issues in the licensing procedure could weaken liquidity, competition, and user choice within the European market.

Binance stated it will provide further updates on progress and user impact measures by June 30, 2026.
