Binance Sees Largest Bitcoin Inflow of 4,617.90 BTC on September 15

Binance saw a net inflow of 4,617.90 BTC on September 15, marking the largest observed amount in its tracking period. At that time, Bitcoin price dropped as low as $75,640 during the trading session. Crypto Briefing reported the trend.

Net inflows refer to the difference between funds entering and leaving a crypto exchange wallet. CryptoQuant classifies this metric as an indicator of potential sell supply from exchanges. While larger net inflows may suggest more coins available for selling, it is not definitive proof that these coins will be sold or predict future price movements.

The September 15 inflow significantly exceeded the weekly average net inflow of 877 BTC across all exchanges. Binance's single-exchange inflow also surpassed the broader market average, though the two figures are based on different data ranges. Stablecoin deposits also rose, with Binance recording an average of 48,230 daily stablecoin deposit transactions through September 16—a 190% increase from quarterly benchmarks.

However, it remains unclear whether these funds represent buyer accumulation or internal exchange movements. Similarly, Bitcoin's price climbed to $76,152 on September 16 after the dip, while net realized profit decreased by 89% week-on-week to $31.8 million. CryptoQuant notes that such metrics alone cannot determine market direction or confirm selling intent.
