Binance Warns iPhone Users to Check for FomoPeek App Installation

Binance has warned iPhone users to verify whether they have installed the FomoPeek app. The FomoPeek versions 1.1 and 1.2 contain malicious code exploiting iOS vulnerabilities, potentially exposing sensitive information such as private keys and seed phrases. Slope Mist and OKX security teams confirmed on September 19 that FomoPeek includes an iOS kernel attack framework with eight attack methods. The code selects attack methods based on device model and iOS version, affecting iOS versions 12.0–18.7 and 26.0–26.1. Slope Mist and OKX have advised users who installed or used FomoPeek to delete the app, generate new keys on a secure device, and transfer assets.
