Bitcoin Drops Below $75,000 as GameFi Sector Rises 9.65%

Bitcoin (BTC) dipped below $75,000 during trading as the broader virtual asset market declined. Meanwhile, the GameFi sector rose 9.65% over a 24-hour period. PANews reported on the 16th citing SoSoValue data that Bitcoin fell 3.17% to $75,600. Ethereum (ETH) dropped 4.88%, falling below $2,400. The PayFi sector declined 8.44%, while Ripple (XRP) and Stellar (XLM) fell 10.38% and 10.66%, respectively. In the GameFi space, Ake (AKE) surged 76.22%. Earlier, a key vote on the Clarify Act, which aims to establish a regulatory framework for the virtual asset market in the U.S. Senate, failed to pass.
