Bitcoin ETF Sees $159.45M Inflow After Previous Outflow

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a net inflow of $159.45 million (approximately 2202 billion won) on September 17, following a $295.98 million (approximately 4088 billion won) outflow the previous day. According to SoSoValue data, BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF IBIT received $183.66 million (approximately 2536 billion won), while Fidelity's FBTC saw a $16.64 million (approximately 230 billion won) outflow and VanEck's HODL recorded a $7.57 million (approximately 105 billion won) outflow.

Bitcoin ETFs had experienced consecutive net outflows of $450.33 million (approximately 6219 billion won) on September 15 and $295.98 million (approximately 4088 billion won) on September 16 before rebounding on the 17th. While daily flows turned positive, the total outflow from the previous two days has not yet been fully recovered. Meanwhile, Ethereum ETFs saw a net outflow of $39.24 million (approximately 542 billion won), with BlackRock's ETHA experiencing a $42.86 million (approximately 592 billion won) outflow and XRP ETF recording a $5.15 million (approximately 71 billion won) outflow.

Some products saw inflows, including HyperLiquid ETF with $4.25 million (approximately 59 billion won), while Solana ETF showed no net flow. Grayscale's ZCSH, the Bitcoin Cash ETF, recorded a $46.56 million (approximately 643 billion won) inflow, marking the second-largest daily inflow since its launch on August 25. The SEC filing states that ZCSH is an exchange-traded product tied to the spot price of Bitcoin Cash.

Grayscale reported that ZCSH's assets under management surpassed $500 million (approximately 6905 billion won) on September 8, with approximately $100 million (approximately 1381 billion won) coming from Digital Currency Group International Investments. DCG contributed 85,705.32563297 Bitcoin Cash tokens in the transaction, as detailed in SEC filings.

Grayscale clarified that not all of ZCSH's AUM increase is due to retail investor inflows; the fund recorded cumulative inflows exceeding $70 million (approximately 967 billion won) in its first two weeks post-launch, with DCG's $100 million investment separately accounted for. ZCSH will undergo a 3:1 stock split effective September 28, with additional shares distributed on September 29 and trading resuming on September 30.
