Bitcoin Futures Sentiment Recovers as Spot Buying Strengthens Potential Recovery

Bitcoin (BTC) futures market sentiment has shown signs of recovery since late May, and on-chain analyst Darkfost suggests BTC could break out of its current correction phase if spot buying pressure intensifies. The analyst explained that the cumulative funding rate for Binance BTC perpetual contracts over a 30-day period (20.1% based on chart data) has moved in a pattern similar to previous recovery phases after bearish market corrections.

Darkfost added that the chain of short position liquidations following BTC's 52% drop since May had fueled a rebound, and with funding rates gradually recovering, optimism is growing. If this trend continues alongside rising spot demand, the correction phase could be overcome.
