According to CoinGlass data as of September 19 at 9:40 AM, Bitcoin options open interest totaled $4.228458 billion, a 4.34% increase from the previous day's $4.052419 billion. The total trading volume for Bitcoin options was approximately $6.421 billion.
Open interest composition showed call options at 60.62% and put options at 39.38%. On a 24-hour trading volume basis, calls accounted for 56.79% while puts made up 43.21%. Calls dominated open interest, indicating medium-term positions are more heavily weighted toward bullish outlooks. Similarly, call volumes outpaced put volumes in short-term activity, reflecting upward expectations.
