Bitcoin Rebuy Rate Surpasses Ethereum and Stablecoins Combined at 42%

European cryptocurrency exchange Paybis reports that Bitcoin (BTC) accounted for over 42% of rebought cryptocurrencies by users who had previously purchased digital assets, surpassing the combined share of Ethereum (ETH) and stablecoins. According to data obtained by crypto media Finbold from Paybis, analysis of individual investor trading data from August 2023 through August 2026 shows BTC represented 42.21% of first-time purchases and 42.67% of second transactions. ETH accounted for 10.39% and 10.82% respectively, while stablecoins decreased from 15.29% to 11.83%. Combined, ETH and stablecoins represented only 22.65% of second transactions, roughly half BTC's share. Paybis analyzed 795,141 users who returned after their initial purchase, with approximately 70% - 557,727 individuals - making between two to five total transactions. Unlike major exchanges such as Binance and Coinbase, Paybis focuses on crypto on/off-ramp services allowing fiat currency transactions.
