Bitcoin Suisse Plans to Cut Swiss Staff by Up to 50%

Bitcoin Suisse, a Swiss virtual asset financial services firm, has outlined plans to cut up to 60 staff members from its Swiss workforce of 120 as part of a restructuring effort. The company stated it will consolidate software development and back-office functions to international hubs to support global expansion. Bitcoin Suisse announced the plan on September 11, with restructuring discussions scheduled to conclude by September 20. Specific numbers of staff affected and departmental impacts remain pending until negotiations are finalized. The firm plans to maintain its existing Bratislava office while establishing a new development hub in Vietnam. It also confirmed the closure of its IT development office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
