Bitcoin Year-End $100K Probability Drops 6% in a Day

Predicted probabilities for Bitcoin hitting $100,000 by year-end dropped to 18% as of September 17 at 9:05 a.m. U.S. time according to CME's prediction market, down 6 percentage points from the previous day. The probability of reaching $120,000 remained low at 8%. Ethereum's chance of hitting $3,500 by year-end also fell by 5 percentage points to 21% in a single day, while XRP's likelihood of reaching $2 by year-end rose by 2 percentage points to 34%. Bitcoin's year-end outlook has fluctuated significantly over recent days, rising from 14% on July 19 to 38% on August 25 before settling at 18% today. The probability of Bitcoin hitting $82,500 by the end of September stands at 26%, just an 8.3% increase from current levels. A step higher at $85,000 has a 14% expectation. Ethereum's chance of reaching $2,750 this month is 19%, while XRP's probability of hitting $1.50 this month is the highest at 30%. As of the same time, Bitcoin was trading at $76,193, up 0.69% from the previous day, Ethereum at $2,416, and XRP at $1.30 according to CoinGecko.
