Bitdeer Adds 65.1MW AI Data Center in Malaysia

Bitdeer AI announced on September 14 that it has added a 65.1MW-scale AI cloud data center facility at the Johor Bahru campus in Malaysia and signed a 10-year data center service contract. The company stated in its official announcement that the power supply start date for the facility is set for Q3 2027. A202, which will be built on the same campus as the existing 21.7MW A201 facility, will bring total AI cloud capacity at the campus to 86.8MW. Bitdeer revealed that with this contract, its secured AI cloud data center capacity across Malaysia, Norway, and the U.S. has increased to approximately 206.5MW, representing about 59% of its goal to build up to 350MW by Q1 2028. The company also reported that its estimated active AI cloud pipeline has surpassed $7 billion (approximately KRW 9.59 trillion).
