Bitget Expands Proof of Reserve (PoR) Verification to 19 Assets from 4

Bitget has expanded its Proof of Reserve (PoR) verification scope from four to 19 assets. Users can now check the reserve ratio per asset and total user assets, as well as confirm whether their assets are included in specific reserve snapshots. The company announced this expansion on July 17 through an official statement.

The updated PoR list includes Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Chainlink (LINK), XRP, USDCoin (USDC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Binance Coin (BNB), Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), and NEAR Protocol. The remaining assets are XAUT, TAO, SUI, Ondo Finance (ONDO), Hyperliquid (HYPE), PI, and USDGo.

Each asset can be verified separately on Bitget's PoR page, which displays reserve ratios and total user assets. Users can also verify how their assets are distributed across public blockchain networks. The personal asset verification feature has been expanded to cover all 19 assets, allowing users to confirm if their holdings are included in specific PoR snapshots using Merkle Tree validation.

Bitget has published monthly PoR reports since December 2022, with a total of 45 reports as of August 2026. The latest report shows a reserve ratio of 122%, including 26,811 BTC, 123,688 ETH, 145,350,6874 USDT, and 19,685,432 USDC.

CEO Gracy Chen stated that users should not rely solely on platform explanations but verify their assets directly. She emphasized the need to expand verification coverage as supported assets diversify. Bitget clarified that a 122% reserve ratio does not fully validate all operational risks or asset storage structures, and users should check notifications if an asset is not verified or personal records are pending.

Previously, Bitget had announced expanding PoR verification to over 20 assets, but the official list now specifies 19. The company also confirmed it operates PoR alongside user protection funds and security infrastructure, planning further expansion of asset verification as part of its integrated market strategy.
