Bitget Launches ETF Financial Service Zone with Five US ETFs

Bitget has launched a financial services zone integrating five U.S. exchange-traded funds (ETFs), offering them in rToken format with support for 24/7 trading and collateral utilization. The platform opened the ETF financial service zone on the 16th, featuring SPY, IWM, TLT, EWY, and SOXX as initial products. Users can access the service via 'Asset Management Overview → RWA → ETF Finance' in the Bitget application.

The supported ETFs cover U.S. large-cap stocks, small-cap stocks, long-term government bonds, Korean market exposure, and semiconductor-related assets. SPY tracks the S&P 500 index, IWM aligns with the Russell 2000 index, TLT is a U.S. Treasury bond ETF with maturity over 20 years, EWY represents a Korea-focused ETF, and SOXX categorizes as a U.S. semiconductor ETF.

Bitget explains that users can trade these products in basket form rather than individually, bundling asset access by market or sector within one service. However, underlying assets and price movement structures differ across products. For instance, large-cap, small-cap, long-term bonds, country-specific markets, and semiconductor ETFs do not move uniformly even when included in the same service zone.

The trading is conducted using Bitget's tokenized assets (rTokens), which are linked to the economic value of certain U.S. stocks and ETFs but differ from traditional brokerage accounts holding ETFs directly. While some products maintain 1:1 collateral with actual U.S. equities, rToken holders do not possess voting rights on underlying shares.

Unlike conventional ETF trading limited to U.S. exchange hours, Bitget's service supports seven-day, 24-hour trading and allows collateral use upon meeting conditions. During weekends or holidays when U.S. exchanges close, internal matching and market maker liquidity drive transactions instead of real-time order books from NYSE or Nasdaq.

The interface displays each ETF’s performance, historical dividends, and holdings composition alongside trade functionality to help users assess product characteristics. Bitget has been expanding its rToken offerings linked to U.S. stocks and ETFs this year, including both spot tokenized products and perpetual futures based on these assets. This new service distinguishes itself from previously listed stock/ETF-linked perpetual futures by focusing solely on ETF-based products without leverage.
