Bithumb Hosts Third Annual Employee Blood Donation Drive This Year

Bithumb, a domestic cryptocurrency exchange, recently conducted its third employee blood donation drive this year. The donated blood certificates will be delivered to the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Association.
According to Bithumb on May 15, the event took place on May 14 at the company's headquarters in Gangnam District, Seoul, where employees participated in a 'staff blood donation and certificate donation' campaign.
The initiative was organized to support patients requiring transfusions through voluntary employee participation. Bithumb has been holding regular employee blood donation drives since 2022, with this year's event marking the third occurrence following those held in January and May.
Employees who could not donate blood directly also contributed by donating blood certificates at designated collection boxes set up at the venue. The donated certificates will be delivered under Bithumb's name to the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Association for use in supporting treatment and surgery for patients from disadvantaged backgrounds requiring transfusions.
A Bithumb representative stated, 'The voluntary participation of our members has come together to form a culture of giving that saves lives,' adding that the company plans to continue expanding its social contribution activities that provide tangible support across society.
