Bitmain Adds 27,180 ETH, Holding Reaches 5.96 Million

Bitmain has added 27,180 Ethereum (ETH) tokens to its holdings, bringing the total to 5.956378 million ETH. The holding represents 4.9% of the total circulating supply of Ethereum and is 98% of the company's target to secure 5%. In a statement released on April 14, Bitmain disclosed that it purchased 27,180 ETH over the past week. The company explained that it has achieved 98% of its 'Alchemy of 5%' goal in 15 months, which aims to increase Ethereum holdings to 5%.

The Block reported that as of April 13, Bitmain's Ethereum holdings were valued at approximately $2513 per ETH, totaling around $15 billion (about 20 trillion won). The report also noted that Bitmain holds 212 Bitcoin and cash and marketable securities worth $549 million.
