BitMine Adds 27,180 ETH, Closer to 5% of Total Supply

BitMine added an additional 27,180 ETH last week, moving closer to its goal of securing 5% of the total Ethereum supply.

According to Ublockchain on April 14 (local time), BitMine purchased another 27,180 ETH over the past week. As of April 13, its total holdings reached 5.96 million ETH.

This represents approximately 4.9% of the total Ethereum supply of about 122 million coins. BitMine has set a target to secure 5% of the total supply and is currently at about 98% of that goal.

The majority of its holdings are being used for staking, with approximately 5.07 million ETH staked, which accounts for about 85% of its total holdings.

BitMine reported its total assets, including virtual assets, cash, securities, and other investments, amount to approximately $15.8 billion.
