BlackRock's iShares PFF Reports Holding 236,159 Shares of Strive's SATA Preferred Stock

BlackRock’s iShares ETF PFF has reportedly held 236,159 shares of Strive ($ASST)’s preferred stock SATA, according to Crypto Briefing. The reported quantity represents a 133% increase from June. However, official iShares holdings data does not separately display this amount or the growth rate.

PFF tracks the ICE Exchange-Listed Preferred & Hybrid Securities Index, composed of U.S. dollar-denominated preferred and hybrid securities. iShares describes PFF as a product that holds assets based on index inclusion criteria rather than active investment decisions regarding specific companies.

Strive disclosed in an SEC Form 8-K filed on September 14 that it purchased 469 Bitcoin at an average price of $77,954 (approximately KRW 16.8 million) between September 8 and 11. The company’s Bitcoin holdings increased from 24,531 on September 4 to 25,000 as of September 11. Simultaneously, SATA shares outstanding rose from 9,995,425 to 10,397,966 during the same period.

SATA is a floating-rate perpetual preferred stock issued by Strive, used as a financing tool for Bitcoin purchases. While inclusion in an ETF index suggests SATA may meet liquidity, scale, and security criteria, it does not guarantee price stability or investment success. Strive has previously sold SATA shares to fund Bitcoin acquisitions.

Official SEC filings only confirm Strive’s Bitcoin purchase and changes in SATA share count, not the reported PFF holdings. The 236,159-share figure and 133% increase are based on Crypto Briefing’s report until verified by official data.
