Blackstone Acquires AI Cooling Firm Flow Control Holdings

Blackstone has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Flow Control Holdings, a company that produces liquid cooling components for data centers. Flow Control Holdings manufactures coolant distribution units, inline manifolds, and secondary fluid network parts used in high-performance artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure. Blackstone announced in a September 10 statement that Blackstone Capital Partners and Blackstone Energy Transition Partners, both affiliated with private equity funds, have finalized the acquisition of Flow Control Holdings from Oaktree. Oaktree will retain a minority stake following the transaction. Blackstone stated the deal is expected to close by Q4 2026, though terms were not disclosed.
