Blockstream Declines to Pay Ransom for Stolen BTC on Liquid Network

Blockstream has declared it will not pay a ransom to return stolen BTC from the Liquid Network. The company stated that unauthorized asset theft and refusal to return funds constitutes a crime, not white-hat activity, and emphasized it would not set a precedent by paying excessive ransoms for recovered assets. Blockstream added it would work with law enforcement, exchanges, and forensic experts to track and recover the stolen BTC using all available legal means if the assets are not returned.
