BTC Short-Term Holders Move Large Amounts to Exchanges After Senate Clarity Bill Vote

Following the U.S. Senate's rejection of the Clarity Bill vote (a decision on whether to proceed with full committee review), on-chain analyst Darkfost reported that Bitcoin (BTC) short-term holders (STH) have moved large amounts of coins to exchanges. The analyst noted on X that the influx from STHs rose from 19,400 BTC to 33,100 BTC, with 23,200 BTC transferred from loss positions—the highest in a month. Binance saw over 10,000 BTC inbound, while Kraken's inflow jumped from the usual 2,000-3,000 BTC to over 6,000 BTC. In contrast, Coinbase Advanced, which has higher institutional participation, received 7,300 BTC, remaining at typical levels.
