Bybit CEO: Bitcoin Still Far From Becoming 'Digital Gold'

Bitcoin (BTC) still needs more time to establish itself as a mature 'digital gold,' according to a recent statement.
On April 20, according to Ublockchain, Bybit CEO Ben Zhou said during an interview with CoinTelegraph at the Paris Blockchain Week in April that 'Bitcoin still has a long way to go before becoming a mature digital gold.'
Zhou cited Bitcoin's high volatility as a key factor, explaining that 'the price volatility remains high, so traditional financial institutions have limitations in accepting Bitcoin as a reliable store of value.'
However, he added that there is no change in the long-term outlook for Bitcoin to become 'digital gold.'
