Celsius Files $495 Million Lawsuit Against BitMEX Over 6,360 BTC Claim
The bankruptcy estate of defunct cryptocurrency lender Celsius has filed a lawsuit against BitMEX worth approximately $495 million, according to CryptoSlate. Celsius claims BitMEX manipulated the market and improperly liquidated positions during the March 2020 BTC crash, resulting in the theft of 6,360 BTC. The suit was filed ahead of BitMEX's planned exchange shutdown on the 23rd.
