CEX ETH Supply Drops 73% From 2020 Peak, Santiment Reports

Major centralized exchanges (CEXs) have seen Ethereum (ETH) supply drop to 6.06 million ETH from a 2020 high of 22.9 million ETH, representing a decline of approximately 73%, according to on-chain analytics firm Santiment.
The decrease is attributed to staking, ETFs, corporate treasury allocations, and long-term holdings, causing ETH liquidity to exit exchanges. Santiment noted that even without significant market demand growth, reduced exchange supply could lead to greater price volatility with smaller buying pressure.
As of CoinMarketCap data, ETH is trading at $2,479.52, down 1.31%.
