The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is preparing to establish clear regulations for bitcoin and virtual asset markets, according to a claim made by Pete Rizzo on X. Rizzo reported that CFTC Chairman Michael S. Selig stated, 'We have completed preparations to issue regulations for the new financial frontier.' The CFTC announced the formation of an innovation task force on March 24 to develop regulatory frameworks covering virtual assets, blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, and prediction markets.
