Chainflip Resets USDT Liquidity Provider Balances to Zero After TRON Exploit

Chainflip has reset liquidity provider account balances to zero after losing $736,442.17 in TRON (TRON) USDT due to a path exploit. Chainflip revealed on its official blog that an attacker withdrew duplicate liquidity provider withdrawals from the TRON treasury six times between September 12 and 15, siphoning funds over multiple transactions. The total loss amounts to approximately $736,442.17 (about 1 billion 90 million KRW). Chainflip plans to retain separate on-chain records of each liquidity provider's original TRON USDT balance before resetting accounts to zero during the restart process. However, the company did not disclose when any unpaid amounts would be repaid and mentioned discussions with affected liquidity providers regarding compensation measures.
