Circle's institutional blockchain Arc was reported to have operated primarily around meme coin trading on its public debut. CoinDesk reported that on the 16th, when Arc launched, meme coin transactions drove early adoption. Arc is a blockchain designed with backing from institutions like BlackRock. CoinDesk also noted that traders who engaged in meme coin trading had already left Arc by the morning of the 17th.
