Clarity Bill Backed by 7 Democratic Senators for Bipartisan Negotiations

Seven Democratic senators have expressed support for restarting bipartisan negotiations and expediting the passage of the Clarity Act, a bill establishing regulatory frameworks for the U.S. virtual asset market, according to reports.

The U.S. Senate recently held a cloture vote on Thursday to advance the bill to full debate but failed to secure the required 60 votes, with the outcome at 49-50. A cloture motion requires 60 affirmative votes to proceed to floor discussion.
