Coinbase CEO Says US Crypto Regulation Clarity Will Come Regardless of 'Clarity Act' Fate

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said regulatory clarity for cryptocurrencies in the United States will be secured regardless of whether the Senate passes the Clarity Act. Speaking on CNBC's Squawk Box Asia, he claimed that lawmakers he has spoken with support the bill. He added that even if the legislation fails to pass, both the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) are prepared to issue regulatory guidelines, ensuring clarity in some form.
