CoinEx Exchange to Cease Operations Starting September 15

China-backed cryptocurrency exchange CoinEx has announced the cessation of its operations, stating that it will begin phased shutdown procedures from September 15. The company cited prolonged market downturn, reduced industry-wide trading volume and liquidity, as well as continuously increasing regulatory requirements and compliance costs as reasons for ending its business. Withdrawal services will remain available until December 22, after which the CoinEx platform will be officially closed.
