CoinOne Wins 'Datadog Game Day' With Strong Disaster Response Capabilities

Digital asset exchange CoinOne has won the 'Datadog Game Day' event organized jointly by Megazone Cloud and Datadog, showcasing its strong capabilities in incident response.

CoinOne announced on the 17th that it secured first place at the event held on the 15th at Red Button Culture Stage in Gangnam, Seoul. The competition challenged developers, DevOps engineers, SREs, infrastructure specialists, and security professionals to demonstrate their ability to respond to system incidents in real-time.

The event evaluated participants' skills in analyzing and resolving issues such as payment delays and errors during millions of transactions, as well as responding to external attacks. CoinOne's 'Raiyuchu' team, consisting of four engineers, completed all missions with a perfect score within the shortest time frame to claim victory.

CoinOne has focused on implementing Datadog this year to detect system anomalies before users notice them and reduce the time required for root cause analysis. CTO Kim Young-min stated that through their Datadog transition, they have concentrated on building processes to identify incidents earlier and shorten resolution times, adding that the competition results validated these efforts in real-world testing.
