CoinOne Wins Real-World Disaster Response Competition Hosted by Megazone and DataDuck

CoinOne, a leading domestic cryptocurrency exchange, announced it won first place at the 'DataDuck Game Day,' a hands-on disaster response simulation event co-hosted by Megazone Cloud and DataDuck on Thursday. The company demonstrated its top-tier disaster response capabilities through this victory.
The event, held at Seoul's Gangnam Red Button Culture Stage on Wednesday afternoon, brought together developers, DevOps engineers, SREs, infrastructure specialists, and security professionals from various industries. A total of 17 teams participated, including representatives from cryptocurrency exchanges, telecom companies, gaming firms, and travel platforms.
Teams of three to four members competed by resolving complex failure scenarios in a simulated banking application environment. Participants analyzed real-time causes of issues such as payment delays, error spikes, and external attacks affecting millions of transactions. CoinOne's 'RaiChu' team completed the mission with a perfect score in the shortest time possible, maintaining an exceptionally low error rate while achieving the fastest average resolution time throughout the competition.
CoinOne CTO Kim Young-min stated, 'We've focused on building processes to detect failure indicators before users and reduce root cause analysis time through our DataDuck transition this year. It's meaningful that our daily practices were validated in real-world testing. We will continue to strengthen our disaster response capabilities to provide high satisfaction service experiences for our customers.'
