Cosmos Ventures Launches $77.6M Fund to Build AI Institutions

Cosmos Ventures has launched its first fund worth $77.6 million (approximately 106.3 billion KRW) to support the building of new institutions for the AI age. According to a report by Odeali on July 17, Cosmos Ventures aims to back 'philosopher builders' who are constructing institutions for the AI era.

The official blog of Cosmos Institute announced that Brendan McCord and Matt Mandel revealed the launch of Cosmos Ventures. The institute explained in its blog that AI is creating new societal challenges that existing systems cannot solve, emphasizing that entrepreneurs must decide what values to uphold.
