Over the past 24 hours, $179.89 million (approximately KRW 249.47 billion) in leveraged positions were liquidated across the cryptocurrency market, according to CoinGlass. Long positions accounted for 65.67% of the total, nearly double the short position liquidations.
As of 3:56 PM KST on September 20, 2026, the top 20 assets by 24-hour liquidation volume totaled $179.89 million (KRW 249.47 billion), with long positions amounting to $118.13 million (KRW 163.82 billion) and short positions at $61.77 million (KRW 85.65 billion).
Bitcoin (BTC) traded at $80,333 (approximately KRW 11.14 million), down 0.86% over the past day, while Ethereum (ETH) fell to $2,572 (KRW 3.57 million), a decline of 2.05%. Among major assets, Solana (SOL) dropped 2.95%, Hyperliquid (HYPE) declined 1.85%, XRP fell 2.85%, and Zcash (ZEC) saw a steeper drop of 7.24%.
Ethereum (ETH) was the top asset by liquidation volume, with $66.73 million (KRW 92.54 billion), of which long positions made up 58%. Bitcoin (BTC) followed at $51.05 million (KRW 70.79 billion), also with a majority of long positions (68%). Solana (SOL) recorded $13.66 million (KRW 18.94 billion) in liquidations, primarily longs (84%), while Zcash (ZEC) saw $11.91 million (KRW 16.52 billion), with 70% being long positions.
