Over the past 24 hours, $511.54 million (approximately KRW 706.19 billion) in leveraged positions were liquidated across the cryptocurrency market. Short position liquidations accounted for 92.16% of the total, nearly 11.8 times more than long position liquidations. According to CoinGlass, as of 4:56 a.m. KST on September 19, 2026, the top 20 cryptocurrency assets saw $511.54 million in liquidations over the past day.
Long position liquidations totaled $40.08 million (approximately KRW 55.34 billion), while short position liquidations reached $471.46 million (approximately KRW 650.86 billion). Over the same period, Bitcoin (BTC) rose 5.95% to $81,121 (approximately KRW 111.98 million), and Ethereum (ETH) increased 7.59% to $2,635 (approximately KRW 363.82 million). Among major assets, Solana (SOL) gained 12.82%, Hyperliquid (HYPE) rose 10.59%, Zcash (ZEC) declined 1.18%, and XRP increased 8.04%.
Bitcoin (BTC) was the top asset by liquidation volume, with $258.03 million (approximately KRW 356.21 billion) in liquidations, of which short positions accounted for $250.92 million. The top 20 assets by liquidation included: Ethereum (ETH) at $128.02 million (shorts: 90%), Solana (SOL) at $43.55 million (shorts: 96%), Zcash (ZEC) at $18.14 million (shorts: 63%), NEAR at $15.89 million (shorts: 84%), XRP at $9.85 million (shorts: 76%), Hyperliquid (HYPE) at $8.67 million (shorts: 95%), and UNI at $8.52 million (shorts: 72%).
