Cyberswap Supports U.S. Stock-Linked rTokens for Trading

Cyberswap has begun supporting Reality's issued stock and ETF-linked rTokens, allowing some qualified users to swap them for Ethereum (ETH) and USDT. Crypto Briefing reported that Cyberswap completed the integration of Reality's rToken.

Eligible users can now exchange rNVDA and rTSLA, which are linked to NVIDIA ($NVDA) and Tesla ($TSLA), for ETH and USDT. This integration represents a case where traditional financial assets' economic exposure is displayed as ERC-20 tokens, connecting virtual asset trading infrastructure.

Unlike conventional stock accounts or fiat deposits, this feature integrates stock-linked products into on-chain swap flows based on digital wallets. Reality issues rTokens, while Alpaca Securities holds the underlying real stocks. Bitget explained that rTokens provide a 1:1 economic exposure to their base assets and The Network Firm provides daily reserve verification data.

Reality stated in its August 5 announcement that the daily reserve verification data confirms the relationship between issued rTokens and held securities. However, this does not grant token holders direct ownership or voting rights over the underlying stocks. Bitget noted that rTokens were launched on June 2, 2026, using a minting-and-burning structure where base assets are held in reserves upon issuance and tokens are burned during redemption.

rTokens represent economic interest in underlying stocks or ETFs via on-chain certificates rather than directly registered shares. Bitget clarified that while token holders may receive economic rights like dividends and corporate adjustments, they do not get voting rights or direct stock registration. As ERC-20 tokens, rTokens could potentially connect to DeFi applications for lending collateral or liquidity pools.

However, Cyberswap's specific network and trading pairs are not detailed in official documentation. This case differs from centralized exchanges by extending Reality's stock-linked rTokens into decentralized trading flows beyond spot trading. Still, supported assets and eligibility conditions may vary between both environments.

Eligibility is limited: rTokens are classified as tokens not registered under U.S. securities laws, targeting qualified non-U.S. individuals in permitted jurisdictions. U.S. persons and residents are generally excluded. Availability and account requirements vary by asset and region, so not all users can access the same products through Cyberswap.

Bitget states eligible users can swap rTokens for USDT, USDC, ETH, etc., but warns that pricing and liquidity structures may differ during non-trading hours compared to regular stock market hours. Tokenized stocks combine real stock custody with blockchain trading without providing the same rights as direct ownership, including voting rights, redemption terms, available regions, and price formation during closed markets.
