CZ Evaluates CoinEx's Orderly Shutdown Process as Spot Trading Ends September 29

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has evaluated CoinEx's shutdown as a well-ordered process permitting user asset withdrawals. Blockbits reported that CZ stated on July 26 via his X account that 'a difficult time is coming again' regarding CoinEx's shutdown, noting it appears to be an orderly closure allowing users to withdraw assets. Verification against the original post confirms the reference was specifically about CoinEx. CoinEx announced in its official notice that spot trading will cease on September 29, with withdrawal services ending at 11 a.m. KST on December 22. After this date, remaining USDT will be transferred to a separate custodian, and unwithdrawn assets will incur a monthly 5% storage fee.
