Daya Adds Tempo Payment Rail to Stablecoin Settlement Network

Nigerian payment infrastructure firm Daya has added Tempo as a new payment rail to its stablecoin settlement network. The company announced on August 31 via its official blog that Tempo payments settle within one second with fixed network fees, which can be paid in stablecoins. Daya clarified that customer-facing services and payment routes remain unchanged, allowing users to continue using multiple payment rails depending on currency and destination. Odele reported that Daya had adopted Suī's Move-based stablecoin transfers as part of its payment infrastructure, but the company stated this update specifically adds Tempo as a new payment rail. Suī Foundation's official materials confirm support for Move-based stablecoin transfers on Suī Mainnet.
